The Funny Shape of Faith

~ What Does it mean to be a Lutheran Christian?

Pastor Tim continues to facilitate a conversation with members and friends of Canton Lutheran on the “fundamentals” of what it means to walk wet as Lutheran Christians in the world today. The discussion embraces the format found in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism in which the proverbial question in posed ~ what does this mean for us? The ongoing conversation continues to center on The Lord’s Prayer (and will do so throughout November). Come when you can as we meet each Sunday (11:00 – 11:30) with an abbreviated gathering on Wednesdays from 6:15 – 6:45 pm.

Tuesday Morning - Lectionary Bible Study

The members and friends of Canton Lutheran are invited to join Pastor Tim in the church library on Tuesday mornings for a discussion on the gospel lesson for the upcoming week. This is an “early morning” – 50 minute conversation - starting at 6:45 AM. Coffee and a treat will be shared. Please come even if you cannot stay for the entire 50 minutes. This will be a wonderful opportunity to study the scriptures, share our collective insight, pray with and for one another and enjoy the ensuring fellowship!

Women's Circle Bible Study

Join the women of Canton Lutheran in studying the Bible the second Thursday of each month.  Dorcas Circle meets in the Church Library at 2:00 pm.  If you have any questions, please contact Judy Stearns through the church office at 764-2429.
